Udo Schoeppe fell in love with the Rocky Mountains and their wildlife when he moved from Germany to Edmonton, Canada in 2008. Since the Rockies are not too far away, he went there a few times and he always was overwhelmed by the beautiful landscapes and wildlife.

He bought a camera and started taking pictures to preserve the memories of those wonderful moments in the mountains when he was able to watch ospreys building their nest, bears eating berries or when he just enjoyed a sunset at a mountain lake for later. He also wanted to show friends and family back home what he experienced. Pictures say more than words.

It was quite a process of learning from photography experts through courses and personal advice. He studied the correct settings and techniques and practiced a lot. He got obsessed with the mountains and photography. His wife Anne shares the same passion for being outdoors, capturing beautiful sceneries and they are always excited when they get the chance to watch wildlife in their habitat.

As their skills improved and friends and family saw their photographs, people started asking for particular pictures of certain landmarks, animals or just beautiful landscapes.

So, Udo decided to start this shop for people around the world to buy photographs of places they visited or they dream of visiting, photos of animals they haven’t seen in nature by themselves like bears or moose.

The Canadian Rockies are beautiful.
